Title VI Reopens at AST Resource Center

We are pleased to announce that our Title VI Elder Nutrition Program will discontinue the Brendle Corner meal pick-up site and re-open for congregate meal service at the Little Axe Resource Center beginning Monday, May 6th, 2024! Title VI provides a nutritious meal, free to members and $5 for non-members.

May Monthly Closures

All AST Health facilities will observe the following hours on:

• Wednesday, May 1st – Closed to patients from 12PM- 5PM

Please note: Only PlusCare and LA/Shawnee Pharmacies will reopen after 5PM.

• Monday, May 27th – Closed for Memorial Day

Dr. Obhrai Relocates to Shawnee Clinic - 5/13/24

Effective May 13th, 2024, Dr. Obhrai will relocate to our Shawnee Clinic location as a full-time Pediatric provider.

If you wish to continue seeing Dr. Obhrai as your pediatrician at our Shawnee Clinic, please call 405.878.5850 to schedule an appointment.

If you do not wish to continue pediatric services with Dr. Obhrai after her relocation, please call 405.447.0300 to schedule a Transfer of Care appointment with one of our other Little Axe Health Center Pediatricians.

The Absentee Shawnee Tribal Health System is announcing a Request for Proposal.

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to seek a Construction Management At Risk Firm (“CMAR”) to provide Construction Management services for the development and construction of a new healthcare facility on behalf of the Absentee Shawnee Health System; a component unit of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma (“the Tribe”).

Shawnee SameDay Clinic Now Closed on Saturdays

ATTENTION:

The Shawnee Same Day Clinic will now be CLOSED on Saturdays!

Shawnee Pharmacy will remain OPEN on Saturdays from 9AM-5PM for any needed medication refills.

PlusCare Clinic will also remain OPEN on Saturdays and Sundays from 9AM-4PM.

New COVID Guidelines

COVID guidelines have changed as we continue to fight against COVID. Please review the following:

  • COVID patients no longer need to be separated in waiting areas.
  • Patients do not need to wait in their vehicles at our locations.
  • Symptomatic patients do not need to use separate entrances/exits.

You must wear a mask in waiting areas if you have COVID symptoms!
