Meet Your Patient Advocate

Hello! Osiyo!

health director

My name is Vivian Bunch and I am the Patient Advocate for the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Health System. I have worked for the tribal health system under patient advocacy since April 2024. Prior to joining the health system, I attended the University of Central Oklahoma where I received a degree in Human Resource Management. I also have several years of customer service experience. When I am not working, I enjoy reading books, playing board games with friends, and spending quality time with my fiancé and two dogs (Staffordshire Terrier and Rottweiler).

As a Patient Advocate, my role is to resolve patient complaints, concerns, and grievances. I am able to clarify options, provide information to assist patients, and solve conflict situations with health care professionals and family members. My personal goal is to achieve patient understanding with compassion in order to help patients with the best of my abilities.

If you have any complaints, concerns, or grievances, I am located at the Little Axe Health Center or please feel free to reach me at 405.701.7623.
